At Cow Island we love to study and appreciate history through storytelling, with a primary outlet being through fiction projects inspired by historical events. These range from lasting figures such as Brutus to relatively unknown stories like the great con man Sir Gregor MacGregor who convinced unsuspecting people searching for riches to pack their bags and sail halfway around the world to a mosquito invested bog. In every element of history from the individuals to the great battles and back to the buildings they inhabited are fertile ground for epic stories.
