I wrote about a week ago that I was taking on a challenge. Essentially it boils down to writing a piece of adventure fiction that clocks in at a minimum of 50,000 words. I’ll do it with the view to entering, but for me the big personal prize will be to (hopefully) finish a piece. Currently the word count in my Scrivener file stands at 1,110. Not bad seeing as I have spent a lot of time outlining and researching, but will need to step it up to be down in a month with time to edit!
